LPGMA Party-list Head: Hon. Albano
Results of the recent 2019 National and Local Elections are finally out. Based on the National Tally sheet of 134 political parties, LPGMA headed by Hon. Rodolfo “Rudy” Bagunu Albano won a seat and placed 47th on the list. LPGMA Party-list got a bulk of their votes from Cagayan Valley (Isabela).
Garnering a total of 208,752 votes, LPGMA Party-list bagged .75% of the total votes. Based on the AES Canvas Report, the party got 208,195 votes and 9 votes under the Overseas Manuel Election System.
The canvassing of election results for Party-List Groups were carried out by the National Board of Canvassers (NBOC). On the other hand, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) proclaimed the 51 groups who won in the 2019 party list elections.
Winning parties will fill up the 51 seats allocated for the party list groups in the House of Representatives, representing different sectors of society in Congress. Nominees like Albano come from various walks of life, from laborers and activists to prominent politicians.
